For close to 100 years, St. Mary's mission has been to improve the health of our community through education, prevention, diagnostics and treatment. To further our mission, we have developed Healthy Connections, a series of programs that cover a wide range of health topics, presented by highly qualified healthcare professionals.
Healthy Connections' goal is to encourage people to take an active role in achieving and maintaining good health. Our programs are offered free of charge to groups, clubs or organizations of any size.

Keeping Your Heart Healthy—information on diet, women's and children's heart health, exercise, signs/symptoms of heart attack, screenings
Careers in Healthcare—nursing, diagnostic imaging and other healthcare professions
All About Diabetes—adult and child diabetes, diet, nail and foot care
Domestic Violence—the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) program at St. Mary's
Orthopedics—The Joint Replacement Institute; exploring joint pain
Your Rights as a Patient—advance directives and living wills
All About Rehab—different types of rehab, including cardiac, stroke, brain injury, balance disorders
Women's Health and Imaging—advantages of digital mammography with CAD, DEXA (bone density) scans, ultrasound guided biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast care
