Welcome to St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

We are pleased that you and your physician have selected us to provide your medical care.

All of our employees are committed to Service Excellence and our goal is to provide you with high quality and compassionate care and to make your stay a comfortable one. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask your physician or nurse.

Smoke-Free Environment
Cigarettes and smoking materials are not sold at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the Medical Center. Patients, visitors, and staff may smoke in the designated smoking area outside.

Fire Drills
For your protection, the Hospital conducts fire and disaster drills regularly. If a drill occurs while you are here, please remain in your room and do not become alarmed. The Hospital is a fire-resistant building, and the staff are trained in fire protection.

Medications
Every medicine that you receive in the Medical Center is reviewed, prepared, and delivered by a licensed and registered pharmacist. The pharmacist screens your medications to make sure there is no potential for drug interactions and that you are not given any drug to which you might be allergic.

Valuables or Lost Items
Patients are asked not to bring items of value to the Medical Center.

Cellular Phones
Cellphones may be used in the medical center. However, please step out of ICU to use your cellphone. Cellphones may not be used in the ICU. Thank you for your cooperation.

Patient Safety
The most important way you can contribute to the safety of your hospital stay is to be an active member of your healthcare team. That means taking part in every decision about your healthcare. Research shows that patients who are more involved with their care tend to get better results.
