The support group is designed to provide people experiencing cancer with valuable information and coping strategies. The casual format allows attendees the opportunity to get to know each other, share experiences and receive encouragement from people who understand what they are going through.
The group is facilitated by Weslie White, RN, Director of Oncology Services at St. Mary’s. Topics addressed will range from nutrition, solving cancer-related problems, available resources and other important topics. Guest speakers will also be part of the programs.
A light lunch will be served.
