St. Mary’s Cancer Center to Offer Adult Cancer Support Group

Enid, OK – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center will be hosting a free support group called Adults with Cancer on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at noon.

The first support group meeting will be held Wednesday, March 15, in classroom C in the basement of St. Mary’s, 305 South Fifth Street, Enid. A light lunch will be served.

The support group is designed to provide people experiencing cancer with valuable information and coping strategies. The casual format will allow attendees the opportunity to get to know each other, share experiences and receive encouragement from people who understand what they are going through.

The group will be facilitated by Weslie White, RN, Director of Oncology Services at St. Mary’s. Topics addressed will range from nutrition, solving cancer-related problems, available resources and other important topics. Guest speakers will also be part of the programs.
