St. Mary’s Receives High Performing Ranking from U.S. News & World Report

For over 30 years, U.S. News & World Report has been evaluating and ranking hospitals with medical specialties. The rankings are generated each year to help patients gain insight into healthcare facilities that have best patient outcomes and quality care practices.

This year, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center has been rated high performing in three adult procedures and conditions: stroke, hip fracture, and knee replacement. More than 4,750 hospitals were evaluated in the U.S.; 164 were nationally ranked in at least one specialty, while 531 were ranked among the Best Regional Hospitals in a state or metro area.

Data used in the 2022-2023 Best Hospital rankings and ratings were based on objective measures such as patient outcomes, volume, quality of experience, and sufficient care among staff, among other care-related indicators.
