St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is named in the top 5% on Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals 2023. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
“We are honored to once again be named to this distinguished list, three years in a row,” said Krista Roberts, Chief Executive Officer, St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. “Our focus is always on providing safe, quality healthcare to our community and Northwest Oklahoma. This recognition reflects the outstanding care that our employees and providers continue to deliver to all our patients.”
Newsweek and Statista developed a methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Four data sources were used for the evaluation:
Hospital Recommendations from Medical Experts: an international online survey that included more than 80,000 doctors, hospital managers and health care professionals
Patient Experience: surveys measuring patient satisfaction with hospitals
Hospital Quality Metrics: data on quality of care for treatments, hygiene measures, patient safety, and staffing
PROMs Implementation: online survey on implementation and use of PROMs in hospitals
