Whether preparing to deliver your first child or your fourth, the Childbirth Education Class from St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center will help prepare you for the birth and care of your new arrival. Our 90-minute online childbirth class explains anatomy, labor and medical procedures in a way that’s easy to understand. The class incorporates birth experiences and stories of real families while presenting the most current guidelines and information.

What You Will Learn

  • What to expect during delivery (including Cesarean Section)
  • Breathing and relaxation techniques
  • Which anesthesia techniques are available
  • Newborn care and labor procedures

After Taking the Class

After you complete your online education we invite you to participate in a live Question and Answer session. We have scheduled both a morning and an evening session twice a month so you can ask questions and get answers from our childbirth educator and lactation specialist.
